Q: All my photos on my iPhone 5s do not download

I have tried Adobe Photo Downloader, Photoshop - import images from device, Lightroom, iCloud -get photos and nothing works.  iCloud is just spinning and doesn't show the device at all and I ended up force quitting it. What is going on?  I have spent the entire day searching and trying different ways and nothing works.  I did nothing different for each picture. On my iPhone I just clicked the picture.  No editing either.  And there are no extra shots.  I give up.  Going for a run.  If anyone else is having this problem please let me know.  Thank you very much in advance.
