Are you referring to v10.11 El Capiitan?

If so, make sure your Mac meets the requirements here > Upgrade to OS X El Capitan - Apple Support

If you are actually referring to the OS X v10.11.4 update (not the same as an upgrade), restart your Mac then try again.

What OS is your MacBook Pro running? You can find this information by clicking the Apple icon in the menu bar and selecting "About this Mac"
