Q: Attempting a restore for a dead iPad.  Have followed all the steps. Have up to date everything on my mac pro. continue to get the error 4014. Have changed computers and usb cords.  What next

I am attempting to restore a dead iPad.  Have followed all the directions, updates etc.  continue to get the error message 4014.  What next?
