One way is via iCloud.
On iOS devices: Settings > iCloud > Contacts on
On Mac computers: Apple menu > System Preferences > iCloud > Contacts on

Where are your contacts now?
I have contacts on my iPhones, iMac and macbook air. The problem is when I update a listing, the updates do not show up on all my devices. I have been through the programs but I am missing something. All devices are on my wifi network. I should mention I also have a problem linking my Apple TV to the photos on the cloud. There may be some setting I need to change to enable both my problems.
