139:NFErr_MC_AuthFailure

Anyone else with this error?

It occurs only on Netflix as far as I can tell.

It only affects some programs and not others. And only on my ATV2.

Tablets, phones PC and iMac all function without issues.

Issues started after update to ATV ver 7.2.1

I also spoke to Netflix but couldn't get it resolved. However, they suggested that I ask the ISP to reset the DNS setting.


However, I improvised solving the issue by switching my Apple TV to connect to my smartphone (tethering), then tried watching it. It worked! Then I switched back to the router, then it kind of did the job too! The error message is gone.


So, in short, the DNS setting might be the cause of this issue. Good luck with yours.
