Logic Pro 7 8 X micpreamp interface

Which interface do I need to use, with Logic Pro 7, in order to have 8 micpreamps?

Most of the name brand interfaces with work. Apogee, PreSonus are two of the best, and most reliable. This one is really nice. But I can only speak for Logic Pro X, I haven't touched legacy versions in ages. Not sure why folks hang on to them. Unless it is a hardware issue.
