Activity app and Rest Days

I want to find out where to put in a suggestion to apple for the option to select "Rest Day" for the activity app. On days that I work out or go for a run, I am fine with my current move goals. On my rest days (which are important for recovery and avoiding injury, and which I don't like taking as it is and really want to get out and run but I know I shouldn't) I don't meet my move goals and it makes me feel even worse about taking a rest day. It could be a separate move goal for the rest day, or use the entire week as one move goal instead of each day, or something. Anyone know where to make suggestions to the developers?

"Activity" isn't the same thing as a workout. Even on days you're not running, you should still, for your overall health, be active. I'm guessing this is why Apple chose to call it "Activity" rather than, say, "Exercise". There idea seems to be to promote general health rather than focusing solely on a particular workout regimen. I've found that a few short, brisk walks get me pretty close to my Activity goal even on days I don't work out.

Best of luck.

I'm glad that works for you! My move goals are too high for that, though, and my rest days I schedule two times a week on my longest work/class days on purpose. I may not have time in my schedule to be "active" every day, but I run about 40 miles during my 5 non-rest days a week, so I think it averages out okay. It's an option that you might not need, but I'd like different goals on my rest days.

Thank you for your response!
