Q: Getting iMovie File Off iPhone

I recently discovered that an iMovie project I made "spontaneously" deleted (I have no other way of explaining it - doesn't even appear in Time Machine) and the DVD backup I burned appears corrupted.  I was disappointed BUT I realized the project is still on my iPhone!  Does anyone have any recommendations on how to export it from my phone?  The movie is for my daughter and about what her parents' life was like before we got our little girl, so it is very important to my family.  Thanks in advance.  I use an iMac with the current OS.
