Debit card verified on watch app, but not on watch

Watch pals:

My B of A debit card is now verified on the Watch app. Restarted app. Restarted watch. But even though the card shows as verified on the watch app, and even in the wallet of the iPhone, it shows as not verified on the watch. Not sure how to resolve this.
