Q: Handoff not working

Hey folks.  I switched my iphone 5S to  iphone 6S today and my handoff is not working on my macbook air ( I can open safari or messages from Macbook through my iphone but not viceversa).

 

Any help or advice to fix it?

    Hello mobdr,

     

    If the Handoff feature is not working on your MacBook after changing your iPhone from a 5s to a 6s, try the following:

    1. Sign out of iCloud on your MacBook Air and iPhone 6s.
    2. Turn off Bluetooth on your MacBook Air and iPhone 6s.
    3. Turn off Wi-Fi on your MacBook Air and iPhone 6s.
    4. Restart both devices.

    Then follow the steps in the resource below to set up Handoff again:

    Use Continuity to connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac

    Set up Handoff

    • Check that you're signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on all of your devices. 
    • Turn on Bluetooth on all of your devices and connect them to the same Wi-Fi network. 
    • Make sure that your devices are near each other.
