latest safari but pintrest not loading images anymore

I wrote to Pinterest support and I was able to resolve this. The issue DNS server related. So it can happen:

- In certain countries

- with certain internet providers

- if you have some kind of AdBlock which blocks the pinimig.com address

What you can do:

- At first, check your AdBlocker

- If you can, connect over your phone. This is where it started working for me. It is because my cable connection is over UPC and my phone internet is over Tmobile. Different providers, different DNS serves.

- Try alternate DNS servers on your routers/computers, such as 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4, and that can often get around a regional block on Pinterest.

NOTE. If you have the possibility to have separate DNS for some websites, it might be good idea to change the DNS just for the Pinterest. You don’t know, what else could go wrong.

I make all that but the problem is the same not display image in Pinterest ?!

Did we ever manage to get an answer on this? I too only get the backgrounds. So far I have tried:

* Firefox

* Chrome

* Safari

I am running the latest versions;

I have cleared the cache;

I have cleared the histories;

I am not running any ad blockers or security outside of Mac Firewall (in which I cannot see anything about images) - I have turned this off and tried all of the above again - with no joy.

I have updated to the latest OS X El Capitan

I can access Pinterest from other devices in the house - only not from my MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am beginning to lose the will with this one.

I have searched the internet for the last two days and just get lots about the blasted Pinterest PIN button and not the actual failure to load images.
