ibook DVD drive

Hi i was wondering if i could put a DVD drive from a 466 ibook clamshell into a indigo ibook clamshell will it work.

iBook clamshell indigo-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.4), also has 9.2.2

Yes, it will.

But remember that the colored bezels of CD drives and DVD drives are not interchangeable with each other.
