Q: duplicate files from iPhoto to Photo

I'm trying to clean up some disk space using OmniDiskSweeper and founding my /pictures folder iPhoto Library.migratedphotolibrary folder that's 63GB as well as a Photos Library.photoslibrary folder with 36 GB. How do I determine from which folder do I delete my duplicates? Also, within the iPhoto Library.migratedphotolibrary folder, I have 3.3 GB of photos in Previews, which again are duplicates. I deleted one photo from the Preview folder and then checked to see if was deleted from my Photos app. It was still there. Can I safely assume that I can gain 3GB by eliminating that folder without losing my photos? Same question for my Thumbnails folder which is 8.4 GB?

You can delete the iPhoto library with no problems if you never need it again - it is best to archive it just in case

You can not delete anything from inside either the iPhoto or the Photos library without corrupting the library - NEVER use any other software including the finder to delete anything from either - use the program or delete the library - if you delete parts of it you will destroy it
