Q: Captg1526

My issue: When I tried to delete all of my Big Bang Theory and Hawaii Five O  TV shows Big Bang Therory would not delete via ITUNES or setting within ITUNES. I have tried to manually delete from my IPAD Mini connected and unconnected but every time I sync it insists on installing an old season of the Big Bang theory. I do not and have not ever had Icloud enabled. I am trying to make room on my Ipad. I do have the latest IOS and ITunes, I have no issues with apps or movies only this one TV show. Any ideas?

 

I have 4.75GB of free space. I would have more if these shows would get deleted as I am trying to do. Also, when this first came up I only had 4 BBT episodes of last season on my Ipad. I unslected them and they deleted but then ITunes tries to install ALL of season 6.

    Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

     

    From your question, I understand that you would like to remove some TV Shows from your iPad, but every time you sync, iTunes attempts to put all of your TV Shows back on your iPad. 

     

    To me, it sounds like the sync settings for your TV Shows in iTunes may not be set correctly for what you are trying to accomplish. 

     

    To get started, lets look at your sync settings. 

     

        1. Connect your iPad to your computer with iTunes open.

        2. Select your iPad in iTunes as described in steps 3 and 4 from the following article. 

     

    Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes using USB - Apple Support

     

        3. Select TV Shows from the left hand sidebar in the Settings section.

     

    If there is a check in the box next to Sync TV Shows, you should see more options underneath where you can choose what shows and episodes are synced to your iPad. From here, you can make a choice on what shows and episodes sync. 

     

    If you do not want iTunes to sync any shows to your iPad, remove the check from the box next to Sync TV shows. You should see a warning that all TV Shows will be removed an no longer synced once you do this.
