Getting an error when I try and install Windows 10 on my partition

So I will list the process I have gone through:

- Found an ISO for Windows 10 Education edition

- Ran Boot Camp Assistant to move the necessary files to my flash drive

- Started up Windows 10

I am able to set up my language and select my version fine, but when it asks me to select the partition I made, I get an error saying that I do not have the correct format.

"Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style."

I attempted to reformat the partition, but doing so accomplished nothing. I then removed the partition and started the process again, but to no avail. I am unsure of how to go about fixing this, and looking through a Google search has given me next to no useful advice. Would really appreciate help here.

Thanks!
