Q: One apple ID to two for family share
2 Iphones IOS 9.3.1 and 2 macbook OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 and OS X El Capitan 10.11.3
My spouse and I share one Apple ID and iCloud account. Want to split spouse to unique apple ID and iCloud so we can family share and family apple music. Are these my steps assuming I will be the organizer:
1 -Create new Apple ID for spouse (where to I do this - straight to iCloud or elsewhere?)
2 -Have spouse log out of shared Apple ID on his devices (messages, FaceTime, iCloud - anywhere else I'm missing?)
3 -Have spouse log into his newly created Apple ID from #1 on apps in #2
4 -Organizer (me-original apple ID) go to family sharing and invite my spouse's new Apple ID
Am I missing anything? Our primary goal is to be able to be in apple music at the same time and eliminate the other nuances of sharing an apple id like sharing locations.
