No.

what about a better quality internal battery??
The best batteries for you MBP can be found at the Apple store or the two recommended third party batteries are NuPower and Anker. Anything else is playing Russian roulette.
Ciao.

Apr 10, 2016 6:40 PM in response to Hasanfby Allan Jones,If you are experiencing short battery runtime, there can be software causes that should be investigated before trying to throw a lot of money at some "may or may not work" battery pack. Please see this Apple article on the subject:
Apps can affect Mac performance, battery runtime, temperature, and fan activity - Apple Support
Step 1 is very important to getting an accurate report from this method.
If any of the following questions apply to your computer, that could cause the battery to run down faster than normal:
1) Are you running any anti-virus/internet security applications?
2) Are you running any "cleaning/tune-up/optimization" applications?
3) Any peer-to-peer or torrent downloading software?
4) Any third-party disk backup software that came bundled with an external hard drive?
5) Any online backup scheme other than iCloud (Carbonite; GoogleDrive; MS One Drive)?
Adware picked up from unscrupulous download hosting sites can also reduce runtime.
Also batteries do not last forever, If yours is a 2010 model and has its original battery, the battery may well have worn out. Five years is a long life for a computer battery. Please find either System Profiler or System Information in your Utilities folder and launch it. When it opens click "Power" in the left-hand contents pane. You will get a window like this:
Note that I have highlighted a section of data in yellow. On your computer, please copy and paste that section into a response to your thread. That will give us hard data on the current condition of your battery.
