Smart Keyboard / IPad / Fails to connect / Sleep

I have the new 9.7" iPad Pro and Smart Keyboard.

When the iPad goes into sleep mode (after some time) it disconnects from the keyboard and will NOT reconnect to the keyboard without a reboot.

Any ideas?
