home sharing movies issue

hi

I have two original iPads running iOS 5 and a mac mini with a large iTunes collection that i have riped from my dvds

some of the films aren't showing on the iPads and also the covers/pics are all jumbled such as a barbie film cover that is actually spiderman

any ideas ????
