3m charger slowly charging and stuttering iphone 5s

I have 2 charging cables for my 5s, a 1m and a 3m. they are both 3rd party cables. The problem is with the 3m, it would charge slower than the 1m with apple adapter. When the 3m is plugged into a different 3rd party adapter with same specs, it would charge roughly the same speed, But the iPhone would be unresponsive at times and would require multiple touches to do something.
