Q: My MacBook Air keeps cutting off whenever its not in use.

Recently, my MacBook Air started to cut off on its own whenever I leave it down for a long period without use. Even if I shut it down it still won't come on immediately, i have to leave it for sometime and then it comes on. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be and how to fix it.
