Q: Iphone 6 dies with +10C(+50F) out the street.

Hi, I faced a struggle doing sport with iphone 6.

When I had Iphone 4 I could afford myself running out the street with -15C (5 F) and listenning music and using nike running app.

But all the winter and now in the spring time having iPhone 6 i can't afford it. Now outside is +12C (54F) and I tried to do a bit sport. After 15 minutes of running iPhone with the charge off 80% turned off and never turned on, till I brought it to the warm house temperature.  Is it normal to do the s**t like that?

It happened all the time. If I did reply more than few minutes winter time on the street with the text message , iPhone 6 all the time turned off extremely fast.

I'm highly unsatisfied of purchasing.

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.1, null

    Greetings navaikus,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

I understand that your iPhone has been turning off unexpectedly and you have been attributing that to the outside temperatures. From the following article, it appears that you may be correct because some of the temperature ranges you mention are outside of the normal operating ambient temperature range. For this iPhone to work as expected, it will need to stay within this range.

    Environmental Requirements

    • Operating ambient temperature: 32° to 95° F (0° to 35° C)
    • Nonoperating temperature: -4° to 113° F (-20° to 45° C)
    • Relative humidity: 5% to 95% noncondensing
    • Operating altitude: tested up to 10,000 feet (3000 m)

If your iPhone is within this range and you continue having unexpected restarts or shutdowns, I suggest reviewing the information in the next article as well.
