Q: imessages stopped working after 9.3.1 installation...help

Today (Monday, April 11, 2016), I updated my iPhone with 9.3.1.

 

All of the sudden, my iMessages don't work anymore.

 

I've tried turning on the iMessages, but continue to get a message that states, "An error occurred during activation.  Try again."

 

I've also tried shutting my phone down completely.  Nothing is working.

 

Does anyone have a solution?
