A student of mine encountered something in Logic that I have never seen before. The "Instrument" slot in the Inspector was not there. Has anyone encountered this before? I had him rescan Plugins and Restore defaults from the Plugin Manager. I'm at a loss as to what else to try. Am I missing something obvious?
Logic Pro X, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
Right click on the channel strip
select configure channel strip
and make sure Input/Instrument is checked.....
Also makes sure Logic's.... Preferences/Audio is set correctly Both the Input Device & Output Device and that Core Audio is checked (enabled)
Thank You Indyuser. It seems so obvious now. I guess I just couldn't envision a scenario where you wouldn't want that slot available. Thanks again for the speedy response!
