Macbook 12 inch poor battery life?

I just bought a new 12in Macbook last month and one of the things that I remember was a good feature was it's great battery life. I've owned Apple laptops for years, a 12 inch Powerbook, 2 Macbook Airs, & 5 Macbook Pros... So I know a thing or two about them. The battery life of my new Macbook is horrid. I understand it's not supposed to be a powerhouse, but I can't seem to get two hours out of it. From the time I started writing this question, it's went from 88% to 86%. I took it off the charger about an hour ago, and have been on it for roughly 20 minutes doing nothing but web browsing. Is this what everyone else is experiencing? I've got about 5 more days on my return window and I don't know if I want to exchange it or return it. If it's just a defective unit, I'll exchange it. If this is what everyone else is getting, I'm going to return it. Some feedback would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and now I'm down to 84%.

That has not been my experience. Give this app a try: http://www.coconut-flavour.com/coconutbattery/

If you're having an issue, take it back to an Apple store, make a Genius Bar appointment on-line first. They'll be able to run diagnostics on it.

That's what I thought. I think I'm going to try to exchange it and then try the new one. I thought its as odd that when I got this one, it was completely dead out of the box. I had to charge it for about 20 minutes before it would even turn on. Thank you very much for your feedback. I was hoping someone would say that, because I'm loving this Macbook as far as size and features. It's a good supplement to my other Macs for basic web browsing. I hope it works out well!!! Just wanted to give you a small update. I went and exchanged my Macbook for another one. It came out of the box at 55% and shows an estimated 6 hours remaining. The old one, at full charge, would only show 3 hours MAX. I think it was just a defective unit. Thank you very much for your input. I think I just needed to trade out!
