Cookies?

I noticed cookies and cache from websites i hadn't visited, cleared website data and even blocked cookies. Then after visiting only one site I had data for 6. Should I be concerned? I am on a Macbook Air with most recent updates.

There is no need to be concerned.

One site you visit may add cookies and caches from sites associated with it.

Just visiting one site can add 50+ caches and cookies.

Empty caches regularly.

Empty Caches

Safari > Preference > Advanced

Checkmark the box beside "Show Develop menu in menu bar".

Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.

Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
