Apple Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard with Windows 10

First let me clarify that this is not a Bootcamp Windows question. Nonetheless I hope someone here can help me as I have been trying to find a solution to this with no results. So I am turning to Apple forums as there might be a solution to this with regards to the keyboard it self.

I have a PC which dual boots Windows 7 & Windows 10. I also have a previous generation Apple Magic Keyboard that runs off 2 x AA batteries.

I have had this keyboard paired with Windows 7 and working fine. However when I tried to pair it with Windows 10 it throws out an error saying

"That passcode isn't right. Try adding your keyboard again.".

I think this is because the Apple keyboard sees Windows 7 and Windows 10 as the same device because they both use the same Bluetooth dongle and have the same device ID. Due to this reason, Windows 10 doesn't prompt me to enter a passcode at all to authenticate the Bluetooth device and throws the above error soon as I click pair.

Now what I want to do is to try and erase all associations the Apple magic keyboard have stored in it self. So when I try to pair the device with Windows 10, it won't think it is an already paired device. I removed the keyboard from Windows 7 Bluetooth device list but this didn't help.

So, is there a way to hard reset an Apple wireless keyboard?
