Q: iPad pro error 1671
Ipad Pro
Updating to IOS 9.3.1 via the latest version of iTunes.
The iPad did not accept the original pass code
After several attempts the ipad is now disabled.
Looks like the wrong passcode, but it was the right one.
It is impossible to restore the iPad, Error 1671 keeps appearing
I tried everything Apple recommended, such as switching off und uninstalling security software, direct USB connection, switching off wifi and the hotspot function of iphone, Nothing works.
Is there a remedy?
iPhone 3GS, iOS 4.1

Hello jaypy,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
I understand that your passcode was entered too many times incorrectly and now your iPad is disabled. You will need to erase the iPad in order to proceed. Please follow the steps below to put it in recovery mode and restore the iPad.
- Connect your iOS device to your computer and open iTunes. If you don't have a computer, borrow one from a friend, or go to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
- While your device is connected, force restart it: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. Don't let go when you see the Apple logo — keep holding until you see the recovery mode screen.
- When you see the option to Restore or Update, choose Restore.
iTunes will download software for your device. If it takes more than 15 minutes, your device will exit recovery mode and you'll need to repeat steps 2 and 3.
- Wait for the process to finish. Then you can set up and use your device.
If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled
Take care.
