How do I undo the screen zoom?

I am using the latest version of OS X , EL Capitan 10.11.4 on a MacPro Cylinder and a MacBook Pro. I am also using the Apple Bluetooth mouse. On many occasions, while using the mouse, the screen zooms for no apparent reason. I cannot get it to zoom back. How do I either disable this function or get the zoom to return o normal size? This also occurs when I am using the track pad on the MacBook Pro.

Press Command + 0. This returns the page to its actual size.
