Q: How do I sync ical with android

Hi Folks

I've tried every solution on offer out there (except 3rd party apps) and nothing works. I have set up both an iCloud and a Google account. My iCal syncs to iCloud, but I can't get the Google calendar on my Android to sync with iCal. Supposedly it's simple - just not simple enough for me. If it's not possible, please just say so. If it requires an app, does anyone know a good one.
