Apr 12, 2016 6:26 PM in response to javaligaby Michael P. Scott,Thank you for chiming in, but alas, the solution which I've read about in multiple internet and Apple help forums simply will NOT work, no matter HOW many times I have tried. I get as far as tapping the address bar and from there all other options are hit and/or miss or totally greyed out.
I wonder if there's some funny thing between Maps created, say, on the desktop, and somehow migrating to the other two platforms -- iPhone and iPad.
I've tried turning off WiFi on the iOS devices and trying to rid the app of the destinations, but that doesn't work.
Ah for the old days of deleting a preference folder and starting again.
REALLY frustrating now that I have CarPlay and need a cleaner Map operation. Wish CarPlay would allow other apps like Google Maps, but that's a discussion for another time and place.
