Q: Missing funtions on iPad

Hello Members,

my iPad Mini 1 lacks functions in Garageband compared to a different device (be it an iPhone 6/SE or an iPad Air 2).

iPad Mini 1 MD533HC/A - iOS 9.3.1

Garageband - 2.1 (4257.23) on every device

Examples for missing functions: Live Loops, FX effects

Tried to reinstall the app but didn't help. If I import a music from my iPhone containing an FX effect, the iPad says the function is unsupported and cannot modify the song.

Thanks for any advice!

Small print at the bottom of http://www.apple.com/uk/ios/garageband/ shows iPad mini 1 isn't supported. It has an older processor that isn't up to the task. Same here with my iPad 2.
