Jumpy Mouse
I have a Magic Mouse that has been working fine for a year or so and started getting bouncy/jumpy without any reason. I just purchased another mouse (logitech) and still bouncy.
Mac mini, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4), Magic Mouse

Both mice?
Clean your mouse pad or get a new one.
Both mice as mentioned. Mouse pad is cleaned daily.
Open Activity Monitor and go to the CPU tap and make sure that under View All Processes is checked. When jumpty look at the CPU activity an it is very high when jumpy?
If the Logitech mouse is also wireless the jumpiness could be due to interference
sometimes a hair or a bit of lint get stuck in the laser head hole on my various mice and it act that way until I blow on it and make sure nothing is blocking it in anyway
