USB-C and External screen blinking

When using my MacBook (2015/Retina) with the USB-C AV Adapter to use and external monitor, such external monitor starts to blink after a while, as if the continued use of such configuration create some irregular condition anywhere in the MacBook-USB-C Adapter. Has anyone suffered same phenomenon? Any ideas on how to fix it?
