Q: How to prevent contacts mix-up between two iPhones?
An old iPhone 4 was given from a daughter to her mother after the daughter got a new updated iPhone. The old iPhone 4 had been reset and cleaned, i.e. no data whatsoever was found. The old iPhone 4 now also has a different Apple ID. New contacts of the mother had all been entered into the old iPhone 4. For some reason, the old iPhone 4 some time later has somehow got the daughter's contacts as well. They are all mixed together. Is it because the daughter's iPhone data has been backed up to the Apple server and from there the daughter's contacts were downloaded automatcially to her old iPhone 4 which now has a different Apple ID.
How could one completely dissociate two iPhones which had once been owned by one and the same person?
iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.2
