Hi,
When importing media from photos app, I want the media to stay where it is - in the Photos app library and not be duplicated into FCPX library. My photos library is locally stored, not in iCloud ("download originals to this Mac" option selected). In the general import preferences of FCPX I have "leave in place" file handling option selected. When importing media from finder folders, FCPX leaves the files in place as desired. However when importing media (photo and video files) from Photos app, the media is duplicated and copied into the FCPX library.
(Both the Photos and FCPX libraries are stored on the same external drive)
Why is this happening and is there a way to change this behaviour and to have FCPX leave Photos media in place?
