Q: How do I delete double song tracks from my iPhone?

To delete music from your iPhone you will need to follow the steps outlined below:
Delete music
Remove songs, albums, or playlists in the Music app. Delete all music in Settings.
Remove songs, albums, or playlists from the Music app
- Find the song, album, or playlist that you want to delete.
- Tap the More Options icon
on the right side of the screen. - Tap Delete.
- When prompted, tap Delete [Purchased or Playlist] to confirm.
Delete all music from your device
- Go to Settings > General > Storage and iCloud Usage > Manage Storage.
- Tap Music.
- Under Music, swipe left on All Songs.
- Tap Delete.
If you delete a purchase that you haven't saved to your device, the purchase will also hide from your purchase history.
If you’re an Apple Music member or iTunes Match subscriber, you might see "Remove from My Music" instead of Delete. Removing music from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch also removes it from your iCloud Music Library. If you delete music on one device, it also deletes from your other devices. Learn how to delete media from your iCloud Music Library.
On an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, if you don't make music available for offline use, it's cached using the space available on the device. The device will remove cache, and the cached music, as space is needed by the device.

May 13, 2016 8:23 AMby shibee,When deleting a song using this method, does it just remove that song from said device, or is it removing the song completely from your music library?
My brother and I have just transitioned from sharing one apple account for both of our iphones, and an ipod, to having separate apple account and using Family Sharing so that we will both be able to have access to the music that was purchased while sharing my apple account. While we were using the same apple account, some of the music he downloaded on his phone was also downloaded onto my phone, however, I would like to have these tracks removed without removing them from my apple account so he will still be able to have access to these songs.
