Macbook Pro being displayed at bottom of iPhone web browser

Hello!

So, I recently purchased a new 2015 MB Pro. Anyway, I now get a line at the bottom of my web browser that says "Mac Book Pro" with "Apple" next to it when I go to open a new web browser page. If I swipe to the left it deletes it until I reboot the phone or clear my phones cache.

Is there anyway to turn this off? I have messed around with the setting on both my computer and the phone, but can't figure it out. Also, if my phone is synched to my computer, will my phone still automatically do a back-up to iCloud?

Thanks!

Do you have Handoff turned on?

The following is from Use Continuity to connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac - Apple Support

If you want to turn off Handoff on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > General > Handoff & Suggested Apps. Then turn off Handoff.

On your Mac, go to System Preferences > General. Then uncheck the Allow Handoff setting.

You can use iTunes Sync and still have the phone backup to iCloud automatically when it is charging. Go to Settings > iCloud > Backup and insure that it is turned on. The bottom of that settings screen (Below "Back Up Now" will show the date/time of the last backup if you want to confirm that it is happening.
