The option you mentioned is checked off for me... So technically this morning the syncing should have started automatically which it dint. This morning when it dint synced automatically I clikced on the 'sync' button on bottom left corner. The phone was synced and backed up too correct? If you look at the screenshot it still shows the device backup from yesterday when I had manually backed it up.
Am I missing a step?
Thanks,

Apr 14, 2016 12:12 PM in response to turingtest2by happyindian,Okay, I have unchecked the 'sync over wi-fi' box from iTunes. I will update what happens tomorrow morning. Is there a specific routine that I need to do when plugging in the phone? Like phone should be unlocked or iTunes should be open before plugging in the phone? Most of times I come into work, fire up my laptop and plug in the phone which usually is locked.
Thanks,

Apr 14, 2016 1:05 PM in response to happyindianby turingtest2,You can check it syncs automatically by simply plugging in, Obviously you'll need to wait until tomorrow to see if that also triggers the backup.
