Q: Operating System not found

Hello Guys, Top of the morning to you!

I'm having an annoying issue that i hope you guys can help me with, i've been trying to solve this problem for the passed few days.

I get this annoying error message when booting my Mac Mini. "Operating System not found"

I got the error after installing Paragon NTFS to write and download files onto my Macintosh D:/ file which was inaccessable

at all, hoping it would work since i could use the extra 200GB! I have Windows 10 installed onto my Bootcamp C:/ hard drive and i think

OSX is installed onto the Macintosh D:/ drive? I have no idea to be honest since i've used Windows since i first got this. I really need to get

this fixed, since i use my home PC alot and have alot of sentimental stuff on my PC and dont want to chuck an extra 1,000$ on a new PC.

Paragon, Tuxera and others can cause problems with boot ability of Windows. Can you post the output of following OSX Terminal commands?

    diskutil list

    diskutil cs list

sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0

    sudo fdisk /dev/disk0

The "sudo" commands will prompt for your password, and it will not be echoed back. You may also see a warning about improper use of "sudo" and potential data loss due to "abuse" of the command.

In Internet Recovery, you do need the 'sudo' in front of the commands. Please remove the 'sudo' form the commands. It is tedious to use the Recovery Console and switch back and forth, and it is slow.

You can switch to normal OSX for most of this work, if you like.

If you shutdown your Mac, and power it back up and hold Alt/Option during power up, do you see a OSX selection? If yes, select it and boot. Your MBR looks incorrect. You have entry #2 flagged as bootable, but it should be entry #4.

You will need to install GPT Fdisk - https://sourceforge.net/projects/gptfdisk/ - under normal OSX. Using Fdisk will not work.

    Alright i have bad news!

It didnt let me boot with OSX

I looked inside Disk Utility and this is the setup:

    Apple HDD

02 (Macintosh file was renamed?) Format- Mac OS Extended

    BootCamp: Format- NTFS

    ---------------------------------------

    Disk1

    Mac OS X BASE SYSTEM

I also tried  using Startup Disk inside OSX Utilities and that also only shows BootCamp as a boot option.

The GPT Fdisk utility works on both OS X and Windows. It is easier to work with, if installed under OS X.

Can you follow the steps in Re: Unable to boot into mac or bootcamp and rebuild your MBR? If you have questions, please ask.
