Q: How do I remove my email account from my iPod

OK so I have a iPod and iPhone under the same account I want to remove the iPod account so whoever has my iPod will not see the messages come through

Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select account the tap Delete Account.
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > de-select your account(s).
