Q: iPad Pro 9.7 stuck on startup screen.

Use recovery mode as described here.  You may have to try to enter recovery mode more than once to succeed.

Didn't work...

For me the iPad Pro is straight out o the box, performed an update and it's locked at the Apple icon and there's a beeping sound every 10 seconds.

I've attempted to connect it to iTune's, which works and iTunes attempts to restart the O/S, but it claims I need to login when I'm still stuck on the Apple icon.  Without bypassing the security login, I'm stuck.

This does not sound like you entered recovery mode.

Be certain you are in recovery mode per the article I attached above.

mine is the same. straight OOB. I was able to set it up initially. I turned it off, then when I turned it back on again it was just stuck at the apple screen, and would beep every few seconds. When I put it in recovery mode it said it needed a code to unlock, but was on the recovery screen?

I finally got passed the stuck screen and here's the strange part.

I did nothing.  That's right.  I just left it alone on the charge, beeping happily away and 14 hours later the log in screen appeared.

It's working fine.

What can I say, but it's an Apple product.

Has anyone else had this problem or found a solution? I had the same issue but haven't found a solution.

I just got my new iPad pro 9.7 and sure enough, my screen got stuck on the apple logo and beeped.  Eventually I did what fatoldbaldguy suggested - let it beep and stay stuck - and the next morning, it was fine and I haven't had a problem since.  Nevertheless, I worry this will happen again.
