It has two Thunderbolt ports.  One is connected to the cable, the other is on the back of the display.  If you can't find the Thunderbolt port, you may have the Mini DisplayPort version of the display.  It has three USB ports on the back.  The Thunderbolt display has three USB ports, one FireWire port, one Ethernet port, and one Thunderbolt port on the back.

(The Mini DisplayPort version can't be daisy-chained.)

    A normal 1080p (1920 X 1080) TV should work.  A 4K TV probably won't.

There may be a problem with overscan pushing the menu bar and dock off the edge.  See if the TV has a setting, such as underscan oixel-to-pixel, 100%...

If not, look for  underscan or overscan in Displays system preference.

I have a power cord to the back of the display, a single thunderbolt port and a cord with a thunderbolt and magsafe connector on it. Does the daisy changing come through the back of the Mac Pro late 2013 or monitor to monitor.  I recently looked into the Corning Fibre cable can this used from the Mac to the Thunderbolt display? Push come to shove I can use my HDMI to my Pioneer 55".

Again, I'm new to the newer technology with today's Macs.

I just hooked my HDMI to an LCD Pioneer 55" television.  Holy Crike! Think I'll go grab a Sony 32" from Wal-mart for 199.00.  55" is a great picture, but just a tad bit big.

Yes, you can connect the display with a Corning Thunderbolt cable.  Connect from a Thunderbolt port on the computer to the Thunderbolt port on the back of the display.  You can daisy-chain other Thunderbolt devices using the display's cable.
