Q: Downloaded Podcasts Getting Deleted

I subscribe to a number of podcasts to be downloaded automatically and sometimes go into the backlog of some favorites to download a few more.  Last night, I was listening to Podcasts when I got home, turned them off when I went to bed, then when I woke up, all my downloaded podcasts were deleted.  Nothing else has changed--the Up Next queue is still correct, the unplayed vs. played are still correct--except that all the downloads have been removed.  Now I have to go back and manually download all the podcasts (even those that were set to automatic download).  This is the 4th time this has happened in the past month (two of which happened sometime between going through TSA and my plane taking off so I couldn't redownload for my flight).


I have not discerned any patterns here.  I have checked storage and, indeed, Podcasts are not longer taking up the space they had previously.


Can someone please assist?

    I have a similar problem.  Most of my downloaded podcasts suddenly just disappeared.  For me they are not in my Up Next or History list.  I had my settings as follows:

     

    Refresh every DAY

    Limit Episodes OFF

    Download Episodes ALL UNPLAYED

    Delete Played Episodes OFF

     

    Unfortunately, the older podcasts are no longer available on-line.  If there is a way to recover them I sure would like to know.
