That's a very clean EtreCheck report, I don't see anything obvious there. The log you posted looks like a crash log but I don't know how to read them. It doesn't look like your iMac is having kernel panics. Try booting onto safe mode Try safe mode if your Mac doesn't finish starting up - Apple Support Be patient because it takes longer than a regular boot as the system makes some repairs and clears out some caches. Once it's completely booted up you can just restart normally. If that doesn't help report back and be specific about which apps are crashing, what happens when it crashes and what you have to do to recover from that crash. Your first post doesn't offer much valuable information.

The graphics processor or logic board is failing and would have to be replaced if you want to keep using the machine. Apple would probably decline to service it because of its age. An independent service provider might be willing, but the part may no longer be available, and if it is, the cost of the service may be more than it's worth to you.

The "etrecheck" stuff is irrelevant.

Hello lorraine_hope,

The key phrase is "GPU Debug Info Start". It has been previously reported here (see Re: Mac Pro "GPU Debug Info Start" with ATI Radeon HD 5770) and elsewhere (http://www.mactricksandtips.com/2012/11/solve-your-mac-freezinghanging-in-mounta in-lion.html)

Thanks for posting that. I am always looking for ways to improve EtreCheck. Detecting this condition would be a valuable improvement.
