Is It just me or is it iTunes? New episode not loading.

My podcast has been running for over a year though I had several months without a new episode. I loaded one last month and it was picked up quickly. I published a new episode two days ago to Libsyn and it's still not showing in iTunes. Feed Validator says it's all good. Is the response rate from iTunes just slower than usual lately? Anything I can do to make my episode more obvious to the magic iTunes machine?


Also, I've really appreciated all the answers to other questions by RogerWilmut1 over the months. Thanks so much!

It may be that the Store is having one of its sticky patches: it might also be that there is some problem with your feed or the file itself which is causing this, but unless you care to post the Store page URL it's obviously not possible to comment this.


If you are sure there is nothing wrong with the feed or the episode (and we can check it here if you post the details) you can contact Support and ask for a re-index. Goto https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/podcasts/overview and click the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page.

Episode 60 is the highest in the feed and appears when subscribing; it has not yet appeared in the iTunes Store. This is entirely normal - it was posted only 44 hours ago. It's normal for new episodes to take 1-2 days., sometimes more, to appear in the Store, which caches the feeds and checks them in some sort of rotation. Give it another day or two before contacting Support to complain.
