Q: Is trade-in possible with iPhone 5 to a new iPhone SE?

Good day to All!

I've checked the trade-in page in apple.com and during the value check of the device (iPhone 5 16gb) it shows $0 value.

What does that mean?

Can I still go to the nearest apple store to have the value be reassessed and be able to trade-in?

Kindly advise.

Unlikely - if it is upfront giving you $0 then you may be better off selling it on E Bay or Gazelle

You can go to a store, but if you go to the site https://reuserecycle.abbti.brightstarcorp.com/Iphonehome.aspx and answer the questions, you should get a value. I used the best condition for the device and came up with $100.
