Safari tab names don't show

User uploaded file

This is how my safari looks right now, the tab names are missing and my mac doesn't save the pages i visit in my history. when i press "t" in the bar, twitter would show up automatically but right now it's like as if all my page history has been deleted, i need to complete writing the link and no suggestions show up. This has happened before and i couldn't find any solutions to this problem. i think it resolved on it's own and i couldn't do anything about it but right now it happened again. What can i do to prevent having this problem in the future?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

Go step by step and test.

1. Click  in the menu bar and choose “Force Quit”.

Select Safari and click “Force Quit at the bottom of the Force Quit window.

Hold the Shift key down and launch Safari.

2. Empty Caches

Safari > Preference > Advanced

Checkmark the box beside "Show Develop menu in menu bar".

Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.

Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.

3. Delete Cookies

Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and other website data:

Click the “Details” button.

Remove all cookies except ones from Apple, your internet service provider and banks.

4. Disable Extensions and test.

Safari > Preferences > Extensions

Select and disable all extensions and test.

Enable Extensions one by one and test.

To uninstall any extension, select it and click the “Uninstall” button.
