How do I confirm an app is trusted?

MY iPad 2, serial DM*******KPH, model MC979LL/A, running 9.3.1 (13E238) iOS, has just started having false startups. I get the logo (starting from an off) or the sign on screen (starting from sleep) but the screen will not scroll nor will it respond to touch. It all started just after the down load of the 9.3.1 update. Is anyone else experiencing this? Has anyone found why and how to cure?

Regards

  • Try a forced restart: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the restart.
  • Consider restoring the device (Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support)
