How to turn off mouse connection notification?

I have a new Magic mouse 2, the official mac bluetooth mouse with a loadable battery. Trouble is that it gives me a very large "mouse connected" and "connection lost" -notification on the middle of my screen about 38 times a day, usually about 5 seconds apart each othed. if I move two steps in my office with my laptop ( macbook pro), or even if I don't. It is really very disturbing. How could this notification be turned off?

No - I don't want to switch off the mouse from the bottom 10 times a day.

No - I don't want to switch off bluetooth.

I want the notifications gone. I never want to see them again 🙂

This solution involves modifying system files, which some people might find uncomfortable.

Go to folder

/Library/Application Support/Apple/BezelServices

In there you will find IOAppleBluetoothHIDDriver.plugin and other plugin folders.

You want to backup and remove

IOBluetoothHIDDriverGeneric.plugin

IOAppleBluetoothHIDDriver.plugin

IOBluetoothHIDDriverMouse.plugin

AppleBluetoothHIDMouse.plugin

AppleHIDMouse.plugin

Restart computer, and these notifications will be gone.

Explanation:

BezelService folder contains plugins that are responsible for the bezel popups, removing these will stop related popups from showing up.
